Will Obama Give Hawaii Back to the Native Islanders? - There is Some Discussion

We all know that President-Elect Barrack Obama spent many of his teen years in Hawaii. And anyone that follows Hawaiian Island politics realizes that the islanders would like the US to leave and give them back the land that they say the US took from them.
Now the islanders would keep all the infrastructure and enjoy all the monies coming into the government to pay for their social needs and they would probably allow the US to keep the Naval and Military Bases there.
Still, the islanders want it all back. Those rich folks that live on Maui would love to have Hawaii as a tax haven, if it reverts back to the Islanders and it would grow into perhaps the biggest offshore banking capital extremely quickly. Now then, will the Obama Presidency work to give Hawaii back to the Islanders to reduce the Federal Budget, after all it is a huge welfare state and costs lots to keep it going.
Perhaps, this all sounds a little crazy to you, but if you live on any of the Hawaiian Islands you would know that there is talk from Islanders of wanting the US Government out of there. President Obama knows this and he understands the history of the island. In fact, he has said he has sympathy for this issue.
It is hard to say what sympathy for this issue means or whether Obama would consider such drastic action, but this is a chance that the Hawaiian Islander are going to want to take and see if they can get Obama to help them leave from the union. Would Obama take the Abraham Lincoln approach to such demonstrations, stating that the union must remain intact, or would he agree that the Islanders deserve their freedom and give up that US real estate? Think on this.
